The Challenge
Miro achieved stellar growth during COVID. To capitalize on this growth, Miro decided to open up an engineering hub in Berlin with the ambition to hire over 100 engineers in their first year.
The Solution
We joined Miro’s team with two Sr. Tech Recruiters and one Sr. Sourcer to hit the ground running, hire quickly, and provide relevant market insights.
Following on from the success seen by the Berlin team, we onboarded two more sourcers to help hire the growing number of technical roles requested by the business for the Berlin office.
Due to our success in Berlin, we were asked to help scale the engineering team for the Amsterdam office. We joined Miro’s team with one Tech Recruitment Lead and two Sourcers.
The Results
During our first 9 months of partnership with Miro, we achieved 33 hires for Miro’s office in Berlin.
We continuously worked with the recruitment leadership team to improve the recruitment process for Miro. Providing market insights regarding salaries, sourcing strategies, and pushing hiring managers for quicker turnarounds in the hiring process.
With diversity becoming a focal point for the business, we trained the overall recruitment team on diversity sourcing.
When employees of Miro were allowed back into the office, we organized, together with Miro, a tech recruitment Meetup at Miro’s office in Berlin with over 45 recruiters attending.
For the Amsterdam office, we worked on several lead and manager roles (level 5 and up). In just 5 months, we filled 10 Sr. Software Developer and Lead roles, including multiple roles that had been open for months.
