Keynote: The Rise of AI: Yesterday’s Dream, Today’s Reality

Artificial Intelligence is all over the news these days, which could make us think that AI is a brand new field. It isn’t: AI research started in the 1950s. While it still might sound like a promise for the future, we should not fool ourselves: it is happening now, and it will impact all of us—our companies, our processes, and not unimportantly ourselves.

We’ll start off with a high-level look back at the early days of AI, explaining why only now AI becomes so pervasive in our lives. AI is becoming our new partner at work, too: the future of work is one of Humans + AI. But what does this mean for us? How are we humans to remain relevant and useful for an organization when algorithms start taking over some of the tasks we are uniquely qualified to do – or so we think.

The session will end with a call for action, a call for reflection about our own future careers in this world of Artificial Intelligence.
19:20-19:40Speaker: Anuj Doshi

Keynote: Unraveling AI: The Limitations and Opportunities of AI

Should we really be scared of AI taking our jobs, or is it the most effective tool developed for mankind? Learn what makes AI so powerful and how to leverage that information to make your job easier.
